Princeton Battlefield State Park Parking Lot - Search Nearby - Added by Pawel Bednarski
Far down behind the Princeton Battlefield State Park is a small suspension type bridge. It's definitely a strong bridge, and as a local, a good place to go to and kill some time. It's a short walk and there's a bench nearby, which not many people go to.
To find this bridge, you essentially park at the Princeton Battlefield Park and walk all the way down towards the woods (you'll pass an old house if you're going the right way). When you enter the woods there will be a tight trail but it will quickly open up. When it does, you want to take a left and walk all the way down until you start to see a building and a pond. In that case, take a right turn and walk all the way to the end of the trail. If you don't see the bridge at the end of the trail, you have probably taken a right too early, but continue walking left following the creek. Eventually after following the creek, you'll encounter this bridge.
The bridge was redone about a year ago, so don't worry, it is safe. It's an artsy type of bridge and I really enjoy the vibes around this place. It's usually calm, no one hangs around it, and it's just appealing to look at. My friends and I usually sit at the edge of the bridge and, more often than not, no one comes or bothers us.
The trails leading up to the bridge are family friendly, and many people walk their dogs or go for jogs there, which is also recommend. Personally, I usually go there with my friends if we have nothing better to do, which usually turns into a bonding time with nature.

My beautiful wife’s hike 🕊
My Wife Lisa was looking at the outbound app and found the Princeton battlefield with the suspension bridge. So today we drove from Pennsylvania to the Princeton New Jersey. We got to the park, we picked out a trail and started to hike . The trails were wide and a little muddy because of the rain we had yesterday. It was so beautiful
The Secret Bridge
Definitely worth checking out if you are in the Princeton area. I went on a rather wet and foggy day and it was an amazing experience. The rest of the trails were beautiful as well.
Hidden Gem
There aren't many other bridges like this one in NJ nature preserves, making this a one of a kind spot. The dirt trails lead you through beautiful tall trees and out to the small creek where this bridge crosses.
