This is a good pick if you are looking for something relatively quick and easy nearby but not anything worth a long trip for. There is a cave en route though a fair amount of litter and graffiti around it. You can also get some peekaboo river views when the trees are bare.

Hike to Sunfish Pond
At the end of the parking lot, cross over the bridge and follow the Appalachian Trail (AT, white blazes) to a V-intersection. Turn right onto Dunnfield Creek Trail (green blazes), which will take you past a few cascades and up to Sunfish Pond.
