These tunnels were built to support the construction of the Hoover Dam. If you decide to go all the way to the dam, there is an elevator for accessibility along with stairs. This hike is relatively flat, and perfect for children - but mind the distance.

Did this short hike after visiting the beach father down. Tunnels were cool, but the trail was closed after the 3rd one

Easy hike before the airport
This was a nice like way to get exercise in, and was our last stop before the airport on our Valley of Fire - Zion - Bryce Canyon trip. You get to go through a couple tunnels which are cool (literally) and fun. A lot of the trail is really hot and unshaded. You get some views of the lake. The trail is pretty flat without any bumps in the road. I did it in flip flops by accident.
