...If you love hot springs, this is a hot spring that's worth checking out. Alkali hot springs are a well taken care of "rock tubs' in the southern desert of Nevada. The area only consists of two tubs, but both are nicely maintained and offer a nice view. I honestly couldn't tell you how often the pools are cleaned, but when I was visiting, there was an older gentleman that was there cleaning the pools. We started chatting it up, and then before you knew it, I was there helping him clean and drain the tubs.

A small concrete deck makes it getting in and out of the pools easy. I would say that the pools are large enough for 3-4 people...comfortably! The pools are also roughly about 3 feet deep, and the tub temperature is in the range of 100 degrees to 100 degrees. Comfortable enough to sit and relax! If you're coming from Tonopah, its about 20 miles south to the springs. You'll take the 95 south for 12.4 miles, then turn right and go 7.9 miles until you get to the parking area of the springs.

The hot springs are very accessible, and you can pretty much almost drive right up to them. Just please be respectful of the land and the hot springs, and remember, leave no trace and happy trails!
