Rockwell Falls Trail Reviews
Omg!!! One of the top two hikes of my life. How can it get better than this? This hike is in the Two Medicine area of Glacier NP. MUCH less crowded and dare I say even more beautiful. Parking was easy in our dually truck. We were greated by wildlife right from the start: mountain goats in the parking lot. On our way back we saw two moose not very far from the trail, both a cow and bull. Take a lunch and eat at either the suspension bridge or next to the waterfall. It is a must to cross the creek at the base of the waterfall and climb up to the top to see all the many different layering of waterfalls. About half way up is a great swimming hole which is not dangerous. The trail with the climb up to the waterfall and exploring it was 7.0 miles. Total elevation gain of the 7 miles is 604ft. I would classify this trail as easy to moderate, depending on your choice to explore up the waterfalls.
