Your New Favorite Recovery Sandal: OOFOS OOahh Slide Sandal Review

The world's comfiest sandal - but it's more than that.

By: Mitch Pittman + Save to a List

If you’re like me, you can be pretty mean to your feet. The pounding, the sweating, the miles and miles of trail. The first thing I do when I get back to the car is take my shoes off – and if you’re going to put something else on, why shouldn’t it feel like walking on clouds?

I thought I knew what comfy shoes felt like, then I put on the OOFOS OOahh Slide sandals. They’ve become my go-to for apres ski, driving to and from the mountains, and taking care of stuff around the neighborhood after a long weekend out.

Beyond the comfort of the material, the fit was great for my size 12s. It will feel a little different from normal sandals (as it should) because of the structure of the foot bed, but it wears very well. The grip suits the need of anything you’d expect to do in a sandal – though do take care if crossing any wet, uneven rocks (like in a creek) as you would with any loose footwear.
