Pickle Springs Natural Area Reviews

Pickle springs is a hidden gem in Saint Genevieve! Three generations of my family have been exploring this awesome place, and we live coming back at least once every season to see the splendor this place has to offer. The trails are well marked, and maintained but this is a trail surrounded by trees and massive amounts of sandstone. Roots, sand, large and small rocks are definitely a factor on long sections of the loop. Wear your hiking shoes with good traction. With the right footwear you can enjoy all the boulder scrambling, and exploring of the natural beauty that is Pickle Springs! If you bring lots of water and snacks you could easily spend the entire day playing in and around this trail. The spring fed streams and creeks are fun to cool off in the warmer months, so wear your quickdry clothes and have a blast! There were no bathrooms last visit, so go before you get to there.
