Tettegouche Lake Overlook

Getting to the parking lot:
From Highway 61, turn onto MN-1 and continue for just over 4 miles. Then turn left onto Lax Lake Road. The parking lot will be on your left after about 3 miles. You will see a sign with park maps/information.

The Hike:
From the parking lot, follow the gravel service road as it climbs uphill through the forest. After climbing for a bit, a narrow trail cuts across the road (the first trail that crosses the road). Follow this trail to the right as it winds through the woods. You will reach a sign where the trail turns off to reach the overlook. Be sure to pick up a map at the Visitor Center and check out other awesome hikes at Tettegouche State Park!
