Boundary Waters of Northern Minnesota
Ely, Minnesota
Description
Added by Will McKay
Though the Boundary Waters is a little difficult to get to, it's totally worth it in the end. The beautiful views, scenic sunsets, and epic campgrounds makes for an amazing place of solitude and good times.
To begin this adventure I would highly suggest contacting an outfitter in Ely, Minnesota. They will give you run down of the rules and regulations for the Boundary Waters. Once this contact is made you should make your way to Ely to meet up with your outfitter, whom will provide everything you need, as well as begin your adventure. There are plenty of put in places for your canoe within 30 minutes of Ely which makes the whole process a lot easier.
