New Buffalo Public Beach is nestled along the picturesque shores of Lake Michigan. This destination for beach lovers and outdoor enthusiasts provides a stretch of sand beachfront with family-friendly amenities, making this a great spot to visit.

Lifeguards are on duty only during the peak season.

There is a paid parking lot at the beach as well as one behind it that is used by visitors launching boats in the nearby marina. During crowded days, it may be easier to park in town and walk over the bridge to the beach.

There is a pathway over the sand leading half of the way to the lakeshore. Keep in mind that it ends with two benches, still leaving you a couple hundred feet from the shore.

This beach is not dog-friendly.

Food and Drinks:
There is a food stand at the parking lot for the beach as well as many places in town to grab to-go food. Alcohol is not permitted on the beach.
