Description

Cenote Multun-Ha is a large underground cavern with no natural sunlight and a spacious swimming area. Inside the cenote, there is a large wooden deck with multiple stairs leading into the water, as well as a platform where visitors can jump into the water.

Cenote Multun-Ha, along with Cenote Choo-Ha and Cenote Tamcach-Ha, is in the jungle less than a 10-minute drive from Coba Archaeological Site

Without a natural opening, it gets very humid and warm inside the cenote. Fans keep air circulating, but the jump into the water feels even nicer given the circumstances. The water remains a constant 25 degrees Celsius, with a maximum depth of 30 meters.

There is a lifeguard on duty, and life jacket rentals are available outside the cenote entrance. Admission for each of these three cenotes can be paid at the booth at the entrance to the dirt road to Cenotes Tamcach-Ha and Choo-Ha. Cenote Multun-Ha is open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is MX$100, and children 10 and under are free.

Swim in Cenote Multun-Ha Reviews

We had a great time here. It wasn’t too crowded when we went but your buses started arriving as we were leaving around 3:00. The platform areas were fun to jump off and it is a very beautiful place.
