Kayak Lake Rico
Taunton, Massachusetts
Description
Added by Kyle Pierce
Lake Rico is a great local lake for fishing and kayaking with convenient lakeside parking.
Lake Rico is a decent sized lake located in East Taunton, MA. You can spend hours out kayaking and exploring. From the parking lot the lake looks pretty small but there is an opening towards the back that leads into three larger sections. There is also an island in the back that is great for setting up a slackline or even camping.
Kayaking in Lake Rico is a great way to get outside if you're in the area.

Kayak Lake Rico Reviews
A Great Lake for beginners. No gas powered boats allowed on lake. Kayakers don’t have to worry about waves. The water is calm most the part of the lane near Middleboro Ave

Fish jumping everywhere! Little beaches to the left of the lake. Only accessible with a kayak

Lake Rico is not the largest but it's great to get away on a day off. Some friends and I have camped out overnight on one of the small islands, not sure if it's legal with the law but we left no trace. It's a beautiful spot!
