Beautiful side hike along the Appalachian trail that takes you through a tropical jungle experience!
Hiking along the Appalachian trail I made a detour in Mt Everett State reservation. About a 2.5 mile detour lead me down to a beautiful 100ft waterfall called Race Brook falls. The waterfall felt made me feel like i was in the tropical jungle in Hawaii. Adding to the beauty of the waterfall were huge hemlock trees which was an added bonus!!
If heading directly to the falls, there is a parking area on S Undermountain Road (where the pin is placed). From the parking area, it is a 3.6 mile out-and-back hike.
