Take a Stroll at Fyfeshire Conservation Area
Details
Added by Gustavo Quiros
Take a leisurely walk through this quiet stretch of New England forest and let your mind go to it's quiet place while you enjoy the sounds of the brook and wildlife in this area.
Fyfeshire is located in Bolton Massachusetts off "Wattaquadock Hill Road", near the "Fotini's Restaurant and Bar".
The trailhead begins at a small parking area with a stone gate that says Fyfeshire Conservation area on a wood plank. Once you are in the conservation area you will see an opening in the trees and just ahead of a small pond with a bench right in front of you and a small bridge on the other side.
The trails are marked with yellow triangles, the first being a loop around the initial little pond you see and the other trail goes around the bigger pond. This trail is open year round assuming there is no snow blocking the small parking area.
*Notice The trail around the bigger pond is not a loop, it is broken up about halfway around due to the trail going through private property. so treat these as two little out and back trails.

This is a very small area (about a 1.5 mile walk to see all there is) right on top of the road and not terribly well maintained. One of the two short in-and-our trails was littered with old, rusty car frames. I wouldn’t go back.
