My first time hiking near Liberty Reservoir. Some hills here and there. Lots of trees that you can see the lake through. Not many trail markers but not really any opportunity to get lost since on one side of the trail is the lake and the other side are trees, a small ridge line, then people’s backyards and houses. Nice to watch the sun glitter on the water and listen to birds. Trail head is just a gravel lot on the side of MD 32, no markers. This map shows that the trail ends, but in reality I think it continues for quite a while longer around the edge of the reservoir.
