Run on the historic New Orleans street car line.

The historic street car line that runs from uptown New Orleans to Downtown New Orleans is the perfect place to run and experience the city if you are visiting. 22 miles of track allow you to choose from many different sections to run. The best section in my opinion is the section from the intersection of S.Carrollton Ave and St. Charles Ave to the intersection of Jefferson Ave and St. Charles Ave. The tracks cut through the beautiful uptown New Orleans Area. You run under oak trees, past Tulane University, past historic homes, the towering Holy Name of Jesus Church and the beautiful Audubon Park. There and back is an easy 4 mile run. After your run stop by Plum Street Snowball stand to cool off. Make sure you bring cash. The stand is located at 1300 Burdette St, New Orleans LA 70118.

Run the Street Car Line in Uptown New Orleans Reviews

Riding the street cars around new Orleans is a great way to see the city. My favorite area is the French Quarter followed by the garden district.

Nice to get a good run in down here while visiting my grandma next to the street cars!! Did this last summer and plan to do it next time I go down there.
