Fijian Pro Surfer Cleans Up Her Local Beach with Save The Waves

"Experiencing the ocean through surfing has helped shape my values and life lessons too. It’s time to offer some help in return!"

By: Liam McNally + Save to a List

Hannah Bennett is a pro surfer and Vice President of the Fiji Surfing Association. She treasures her home in Fiji and after posting photos of the terrible amounts of trash accumulating at her home beach to social media, a friend and Save The Waves ambassador encouraged her to make a submission to Save The Waves' Dirty Wave Challenge. Last week, Save The Waves Coalition launched a short film announcing Hannah as the winner, granting her $5,000 to support her clean up efforts!

See the short film below and check out this article to learn more about Hannah and Save The Waves.
