SUP from Kings Beach

Lake Tahoe Kings Beach

Added by Jennifer Heifferon

Kings Beach is a great place to learn to SUP. There are multiple places to rent boards and all the gear you need. The views are incredible, especially looking up towards the mountains.

This is a super fun way to enjoy the day, get some exercise and see some really cool parts of the lake that are usually hidden. You can rent boards/ paddles at a few different places either for the day or by the hour. Bring some water, sun block and a camera...if you dare! Once the day is done and you want a hearty, delicious meal, make your way to Baxter's Bistro (http://baxtersbistro.com/) for pasta, wine, cheese and an incredible atmosphere...the best way to end the day.

Great place to SUP, try and get out before the winds pick up in the afternoons.

Lake Tahoe is an awesome place to learn SUP. Beautiful, clean water and soft, flat bottom make King's Beach one of the better spots as well. My favorite place to paddle flat water!
