The elevation of the campground is 7,500 ft, making it the highest campground on Mt. Shasta. Summer nights can get pretty cold, so make sure to bring proper attire. The campsite provides easy access to hiking trails and two meadows that have amazing views of Mt. Shasta. It is also not far from the base of the mountain, where many backpackers start to make their way up the enormous mountain.
This site is located about 15 miles up the mountain on Everritt Memorial Highway. Parking is in a dirt lot on the right just past the Bunny Flat Trailhead.
Please also be respectful of this area as it's a Native American sacred place.
