Take a Boat Ride around the island of Capri

Originally added by Andy Merkel

Don't feel like hiking while on vacation? Take a chartered boat ride along the entire island for a 1-2 hour ride all times of the day.

This is a wonderful experience that you can have on the island of Capri to see everything around the island in a 5-15 person boat ride.

There are many vendors/companies right in the main harbor that will be able to take you around the island. Most people speak English on the island as it is very touristy, this is a great way to get away from everyone!

You will go around many of the grottos that are on the island, underneath natural arches, and get up to the Blue Lagoon. Be aware, this is the most popular destination on all of the boat rides and they charge an additional fee for this, not to mention a 1-2 hour wait.

It is not too expensive but the cost is well worth what you are getting to ride in a boat around the Mediterranean Sea!

If you time it out right, this is the perfect opportunity for sunset landscape photography.

One of my favorite memories

Capri is one of my favorite places on Earth! The boatride around the island was so beautiful, made all the more special because of drinking our weight in limoncello before hand :) If you're lucky, they'll let you jump in for a quick swim! We were able to also see the Blue Lagoon (or grotto), which was spectacular. Because of the waves that day, we had to lay back in the little boat as they paddled us in - such a fun experience!

We want to acknowledge and thank the past, present, and future generations of all Native Nations and Indigenous Peoples whose ancestral lands we travel, explore, and play on.
