Stroll through the Boboli Gardens
Firenze, Italy
Description
Added by Cameron Catanzano
Florence is a gorgeous city (there's really no doubt about that), but sometimes you just need a little bit of nature.
Walking through Boboli was a meditative experience for me.
I left more tranquil and contemplative than when I came in. By no means was I in a bad mood before, but it was only a matter of time before my walk intoxicated me with the glow that only comes from quality time in nature.
It took over 400 years to build these once private gardens, and due to historical significance, they are now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The gardens are located at the Pitti Palace (address included in this adventure). It is an extremely popular place to visit in Florence. You shouldn’t have trouble finding it.
Admission
€13 for adults and it includes admission to the porcelain the art museum. It is home to some gorgeous pieces of work.
I spent much of my time in Italy at art museums, but this one stood out to me. I didn’t have enough time to see the entire collection, but there were some amazing early modern paintings and sculptures that really caught my attention.
