Added by Zackary Mason

This adventure is more relaxed and laid back than a typical hike. It consists of a lake view, 5 hiking trails, tall grass fields, pine trees and wildlife which you can recognize from the various signs. This is a great spot for photography as well. They have a sheltered area along with grills you can cook on! It's a great place to go with family!

Starting at the entrance of Sodalis, there two ways you can take. If you go to the left, it will take you to the trails in the woods. If you go right, that will take you to the lake view area. The lake view area has a dock that goes out into the lake which is a great lake to fish on. You'll also find picnic tables, grills. and everything you need to have a family BBQ.

Again, if you are heading left that takes you over a bridge that has a waterfall view, and leads onto the trails. Every trail is a pretty easy hike with park benches where you can rest and enjoy the view. They are either dirt or rock. These easy-to-hike trails make it very accessible. During your hike, you may see cardinals, grassy areas, and a view from the backside of the lake which evidently leads back to the parking lot. It's a pretty cool place to take pictures, see wildlife, and stretch your legs on this 2.3 mile loop! This is a great hike near Indianapolis!
