A Wilderness area that includes a loop hike as well as contains a portion of the River to RIver Trail.
Panther's Den features large sandstone rock formations in a labyrinth like orientation. It is a great place for a day hike or an overnight camping trip. There is a small creek that runs nearby the trail which increases the tranquility. This is a great trail to hike before or after a visit to one of southern Illinois' many wineries.
