Cooks Lake located near Bonners Ferry, Idaho is a great destination for relaxing or bringing your fishing pole (whether fly fishing or using a spin rod -- don't forget your fishing license). To get to the trailhead, drive north on highway 95 from Sandpoint and turn left onto Pack River Road near the gas station.
