Photogarph the Iconic Sheep Barn in the Westfjords
Bíldudalsvegur, Iceland
Description
Added by Jess Fischer
This little barn tucked away in the Westfjords is unique and the perfect subject for photography.
Strangely enough I had seen this little barn in a ton of pictures before going to the Westfjords. I just thought it was a spot that all famous photographers knew about because I couldn't find anything on it when I tried to research it. Of course we drove right past it on our way up to Bíldudalur.
To get to the barn, follow route 63 towards Bíldudalur. It will be on your right hand side. You won't miss it. (Also use the little map dot on these directions or coordinates 65.677380, -23.595810) There is no hike required, just pull over on the side of the road and you're already there. This is a very popular subject to photograph so remember a tripod and your camera!
Additionally, about two minutes down the road there is a waterfall that runs straight into the ocean. Keep driving past this barn and it will be on the left side of the road, again, you won't miss it.

Photogarph the Iconic Sheep Barn in the Westfjords Reviews
This place is a fantastic site just beware the GPS coordinates provide are a few miles off. The sheep barn is a few miles further out of town on same road. It's about a half mile past the waterfall heading out of town.
