Run around the park for a view of Mauna Kea, within walking distance of Hilo
Within walking distance of downtown Hilo, jog around Liliʻuokalani Park and Gardens for beautiful views of Mauna Kea, the Pacific, and Eastern art! A loop around the park, including Coconut Island, is approximately 1 mile. On your jog, you will see lots of people walking and running in addition to small ponds with bridges crossing them. There is also a famous fish restaurant and popsicle stand in the park for refreshments.
There are pavilions close to Coconut Island for grill outs and BBQs. Easy and free parking for all. You can't miss this spot!
