Come sit by the peaceful, secluded Cane Creek Falls and enjoy a picnic lunch or splash around in the shallow oasis.

From the parking lot, walk about 500 feet to the check-in office to let the receptionist know that you would like to visit the falls.  This campground operates as a retreat select times throughout the year and is closed to the public during those times so prior to visiting, be sure to call and find out whether it is open for public access.  After a day of kayaking, my partner and I lucked up on this spot while searching for a quiet place for a picnic.

Quiet and peaceful it is indeed.  The walk from the check-in office is a brief downhill stroll that hooks around to showcase Cane Creek Falls.  Feel the waterfall breeze from the bridge over the creek or find a smooth rock to sit and relax. The water is shallow, perfect for splashing around with the kiddies or dipping your toes.

The grounds are extremely quiet and seemingly deserted so chances are you will have the privilege of having your own private waterfall picnic here.
