Sweet Auburn District Walking Tour Reviews
Sweet Auburn neighborhood is incredibly rich with history of Black Americans living in the South. Auburn Avenue was once known as the wealthiest street in the country for Blacks. It is now home to the sprawling MLK National Historical Site. Starting at JW Dobbs House and heading West gets you to all the highlights. I took a group of my work peers here in celebration of Juneteenth and everyone loved it! A great family/friend outing.
