Settles Bridge Loop is a scenic 2.1-mile trail located within the Settles Bridge Park unit of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. This moderately challenging loop offers hikers a diverse experience through mature hardwood forest while providing access to historic sites and beautiful river views.

The trail follows the western bank of the Chattahoochee River, incorporating sections of the historic Settles Bridge site. Beginning at the main parking area, hikers traverse through rolling terrain that includes both riverside flats and ridgeline sections with approximately 300 feet of elevation gain. The path features a mix of dirt single-track and wider sections, winding through native Georgia woodland.

A highlight of this hike is reaching the ruins of Settles Bridge, a historic crossing point dating back to the 1800s. The trail offers multiple scenic overlooks of the Chattahoochee River, providing excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing, particularly birds and river fauna. During spring, the forest floor comes alive with native wildflowers.
