Carter Center, Freedom Park, Olmsted Linear Parks Reviews
Freedom Park is an awesome spot for hanging with friends, taking a sunny nap, packing a picnic, you name it. Its situated along the PATH trail which runs all the way from intown Atlanta to Stone Mountain. The park is regularly maintained and it shows! You can venture down the PATH to the Carter Center which is absolutely worth it. And if you’re there on a Saturday morning, catch the Freedom Farmers Market at the Carter Center. This is one of my favorite parts of the city, right in the middle of the Poncey-Highlands, lots of bars, coffee, and good food nearby. Highly recommend!
