Dupuis Reserve State Forest Trail Reviews
This is one of the few trails in South Florida. There are alligators and TONS of grasshoppers. The trail changes a few times going from a trail along water to canopies of trees to mud to a forest full of air plants. There is a parking lot often empty then you have to go through a gate to enter the trail

If you're like me and you don't have your own snorkel gear, rentals are available from the Force-E Diving Center in the back of the parking lot. Mask and fin rentals were $20, and they let us hold on...

However, the intercoastal waterways that run up and down much of the state are fantastic places to grab a kayak and hit the water on a sunny afternoon (they get a lot of those). Round Island Beach Park is one of these places - accessible and offering plenty of fun. It's less than 2 hours from Tampa ...
