This is an amazing place to snorkel and dive about 40 minutes from Roseau. You'll be surrounded by nature and have a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea!
From Roseau, you can take a bus or taxi to Scott's Head and they will park at the base of the hike and dive site.
When you arrive at Scott's Head you have the Atlantic Ocean on your left and the Caribbean Sea on your right. Straight ahead is Scott's Head. If you want to explore Scott's Head, it's a relatively easy 20 minute hike that gives you a gorgeous 360 view of the area. It also allows you to scope out possible dive sites around the island. Once ready, explore the portion on the Caribbean side because of the strong currents of the Atlantic Ocean. You can bring your own gear or pay about 10EC to rent snorkeling gear. There are several locals nearby the dive site that cater to locals. Furthermore, you can rent dive gear here. They provide tours of Dominica's marine environment and are located about 15 minutes South of Roseau. At Scott's Head, the depth of the dive ranges from 10-100 feet and the views are breathtaking! Be prepared to swim with fish, turtles, and beautiful coral!
