Tour some of the most beautiful scenery in Northern Delaware by taking the Northern Delaware Greenway Trail, a ~12 mile trek that links multiple state parks and historic sites in the region.
If you are going to tour Northern Delaware, look no further than the Northern Delaware Greenway Trail. This ~12 mile route links some of the best sites and attractions in the region including Bellevue State Park, Wilmington State Park, Brandywine Creek State Park, Brandywine Zoo, and Rockford Park. Hike by two historic estates, the Brandywine River, the dramatic rock walls of Alapocas Run State Park, and more.
There are multiple access points to the Greenway, but my favorite spot to hit the trail is by the Brandywine Zoo, located in Brandywine Park in the heart of Wilmington. Park in the Brandywine Park parking lot, and pick up the trail directly across from the zoo.
The trail will take you through multiple parks and historic sites, giving you an excellent tour of the best Northern Delaware has to offer.
