Catch the Sunset at Playa Puerto Viejo

Playa Puerto Viejo is a beach in the heart of Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica. It's a great place to come relax on the beach, swim or catch the sunset. Just off shore there is the remains of an old shipwreck which is fun to photograph. There's also many venders, shops and restaurants in the area that cater to tourists.  

Information on Parking:

The beach is in the town or Puerto Viejo where the main road through town drives along this beach. You just park anywhere you can find a spot. Most people just walk or ride a bike from wherever they are staying for the night. There are lots of little restaurants and shops close by since this is in the heart of the town
