Downtown Moncton, Centennial Park offers a beautiful cross country ski trail open all winter, day and night.

Centennial Park in Moncton offers great winter activities. You can skate, slide, snowshoe, bike, and ski 5 minutes away from Main street. To ski in Centennial Park, you can park in the main parking lot by the playground, closer to the ice rink and the hiking trails, but we suggest you leave your car by the Moncton Coliseum on Millennium Blvd if you prefer direct access to the trails.

The trails are groomed, two tracks and well maintained for both classic cross-country and skate ski. One is also open at night as it is well lit every hundred feet.

The yellow loop is about 5 km long but some side trails can vary your route if you decide to go for a longer ride. The trail crosses a frozen brook and features a few small hills. It is great for skiers with very little experience as well as for skiers who are looking for a quick workout after work.
