A hidden gem in the City of Toronto

Explore Toronto Island and find yourself in a small island community with amazing views of downtown. Follow the paved pathway that leads past small homes and to a beach on the other side of the island. To get to the island, you'll take the ferry from The Jack Layton Ferry Terminal (the ferry docks), located between Bay Street and Yonge Street on Queens Quay for a small price.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to see a new side of Toronto!

I particularly like starting at Wards Island and walking in the residential neighborhoods, going to the beach, then walking along the canal back to Center Island. Best to go during weekdays when there are less crowds though

What a great view of the city! A surprise and great place to explore.

Such an amazing destination and my mom, grandma and I loved visiting this island. We all rented bikes from a cute little shop and cruised around for a few hours. Great way to spend a day!
