Explore Edith Lake in Jasper National Park
Jasper, Alberta
Description
Added by The Outbound Collective
Kick back on the sandy beach and take in the mountain views.
One of the warmer lakes in Jasper National Park, Lake Edith is a great spot to post up and spend the day hanging in the summer sun. It comes with fewer amenities than neighboring and more popular Lake Annette, so naturally you'll see slightly fewer people. It does come with a public dock, but remember that there are no motorized vehicles allowed.
A good portion of the lake has large sand bars, which keeps the depth pretty shallow making for the perfect spot for young kids to wade and play in the water.
Bring some drinks and snacks and spend the day swimming, floating, and chillin' by the lake.

Explore Edith Lake in Jasper National Park Reviews
Came during the winter and the views were incredible! Mountain reflected right off the water on the lake. Would love to come back during the summer as I hear lots of activities on the lake and beaches but definitely a good sightseeing spot during the winter

Lake Edith is a gorgeous lake! So many great views, water is crystal clear, and you can rent SUP s right from the beach in peak season. There is also a great walking trail that loops around the lake. If you can brave the cold water, it is great for swimming. It is neat to see some of the private properties around the lake too.
