An easy hike through the forest to 2 sets of falls. The upper falls will be to the left (when you come to a fork in the path) and the main falls are to the right.
The trail head is across the Heritage Highway road and begins with a sign and some brochures that contain some information about the hike and falls. The trail is very easy and has little to none elevation gain. It weaves through dense and open areas of the boreal forest and crosses several creeks with little bridges. The trail is also marked with kilometer signs. You will only come to a few 'forks' in the path, going left on the first fork will bring you to to a place were you can climb down a rope, to the upper falls, which descend about 2 meters. And going right at the first fork will bring you to a viewpoint of the main waterfalls, which fall 15 meters.
The falls are ideal in winter for Ice Climbing, and are accessible if you follow the path towards the Murray River. You can also snowshoe to the falls in winter. The hike is 3 kilometers one way, and 6 kilometers round trip. The mosquitoes and various kinds of nasty flies can be a pain on this hike, so bring spray.
