Al's Habrich Trail is one of the most stunning hikes the Sea to Sky gondola has to offer. The views of the Howe Sound are unreal all the way up, as well as the occasional waterfall during the summer months.

We arrived at the Sea to Sky Gondola in the early morning and rode up to the top in the gondola to where the trailhead was. Once at the top there was a gift shop and a suspension bridge with a wooden viewing platform. The trail goes to the left of the complex down an old logging road. It is well marked and easy to follow. Once on the trail it is fairly smooth sailing to the top. There are many open areas with views of the valley along the way up. At one point along the trail there is a short rock face you must climb, however it is very easy and there is also a rope to help you up and down attached to a tree there. Once you arrive at the top there are views of the whole valley, and you are able to see Whistler and several other major mountains in the area.

Overall this was a fantastic hike and I highly suggest it.

Hike Al's Habrich Trail Reviews

Considerable snow on the upper half of the trail, very easy to end up post holed. Trail is hard to follow in spots, all trails pro GPS positioning was invaluable. Amazing views at the big Bluffs about 1/4 km from the end of the trail.
