Enjoy the most scenic part of Gros Morne National Park
I know what you're thinking, where does a boat tour fit into the outbound.
In my personal opinion, this was my favorite and most beautiful experience I had within Gros Morne.
The cliffs surrounding the pond are taller than the CN tower located in Toronto, ON, and provide spectacular views.

To do the boat tour, you can make reservations with BonTours (1-888-458-2016 ). Pricing (very reasonable) can be found at http://www.bontours.ca/tour/we...
On the day of your tour park at the Western Brook Pond trail and hike to the dock - there and back trail of 6km total. The hiking trail crosses over coastal bogs and limestone ridges.
Once there they will guide you on the boats and you get to enjoy the views and snap all the pictures you would like.

My bosses took all of the staff on a tour so we could experience the Fjord.

Our tour was cancelled due to heavy fog [the reservation was for a 10:30 trip in mid-June]. The dock attendants said that if you can't see the mountains from the parking area (40 min hike in to the dock) then there's a good chance the tour will be cancelled. Make reservations and check the weather!
