Kortum Trail offers up breathtaking views of the Sonoma Coast including Goat Rock, Arched Rock, the Russian River, and the Sunset Boulders.
The Kortum Trail in the Sonoma Coast State Park connects Goat Rock with Wrights Beach, winding along the top of the sea cliffs and affording incredible views of the California Coast and its numerous sea rocks and arches.
To get there take the Pacific Coast Highway / Highway 1 to either Wright's Beach or the Goat Rock Parking lot overlooking the Russian River (not the lower one next to Goat Rock itself) and follow the trail out and back and it winds along the coast.
Like anywhere on the northern California coast, weather can change abruptly so plan accordingly.
