Great workout hike! Took a right at the split, which brings you for a loop around the back, but you have the option to go left which brings you up the front.

A real thigh burner, for sure. Keep in mind highway 15 is right there, so you may hear traffic for the first bit. At the middle, you can choose to go left to stay on the trail, or head right to go around the back. Youll be on pavement for a portion, but if youre looking for a real workout, go right! The best part for me is that it is a 9/11 memorial with markers along the way to show what floor of the twin tower you'd be on. Its a lovely tribute to one of the pilots who was from Fallbrook.
