Big Laguna Lake Loop Reviews

I have hiked this trail or portions of it in all seasons. Summer does get really hot on the exposed portions of the trail, so not highly recommended in summer unless an extra early start is possible. Trail is mostly flat. Start/park at Penny Pines Trailhead. Cross the road and begin trail on Noble Canyon. Follow trails south leading to and around Big Laguna Lake. The lake will have water in it most of the year as rainfall allows. Not swimmable. Grassy banks. Lots of birds, frogs, snakes, etc. This is a busy trail for both mountain bikers, hikers and horses, so hike aware and with courtesy. This year we hiked after a snowfall. It was gorgeous!
