Airport Loop Trail

One of the highlights of the hike is the Sedona View Trail, which branches off from the loop and leads to a popular overlook ideal for photography. This is also one of the area’s best spots for taking in panoramic views of Sedona and the surrounding valley.

PERMITS/FEES

To access the Sedona Airport Loop Trail, no permits or reservations are required, but visitors should be aware that parking fees are applicable. The main trailhead is located at the Airport Mesa has a small per vehicle cost $3 (as of 2024). 

There is also free parking at the Airport Saddle parking lot, which is located 0.5 miles from the Visitor Center.
