PERMITS/FEES

To access the Sedona Airport Loop Trail, no permits or reservations are required, but visitors should be aware that parking fees are applicable. The main trailhead is located at the Airport Mesa has a small per vehicle cost $3 (as of 2024). 

There is also free parking at the Airport Saddle parking lot, which is located 0.5 miles from the Visitor Center.

Really enjoyed hiking the Airport Loop! 3 mile trail. It’s great during dusk/sunset and can get a Birds Eye view of the town below. Straight forward loop, pretty flat. Hiked this trail during the winter and on the back half it was extremely muddy and slippery.
