Martial Glacier

Description

The Martial Glacier is located just outside of town in Ushuaia and provides views of the Beagle Channel, where you can see across to Chile. There are multiple hiking routes of varying difficulty and length, but all of them do involve a moderate-steep incline. At the bottom of the Glacier is the Ushuaia Ski School, where beginners can learn to ski in the winter. You can also ski tour the glacier up through early spring when conditions allow.
