Clear Creek Bicycle Trail Reviews
I took Raven Trail loop off of the bicycle trail. The bicycle trail is paved between swimming area and the campground. Raven trail is very pretty with waterfalls.

Hike to Upper Caney Creek Falls
This short trail drops into the Caney Creek Canyon, hitting the waterfall in just 1 mile. The hike also involves a creek crossing – be sure to watch for slippery rocks – and a steep section of trail as you climb out of the canyon.
Hike to Dismals Canyon Falls
This is a short and pretty trail, great for the whole family. Glowworms, called dismalites, are a special attraction in the summer.
There is a $10 fee for adults, $6.75 for kids. Dogs are allowed on leash.
Drive the Covered Bridge Trail in Blount County
I'll be honest, I've gotten a little caught up (obsessed) in the Overland hype the past few weeks and wanted to get out and explore. Run at Railroad Park in Downtown Birmingham
In many ways, Railroad Park has become a symbol for the revitalization of downtown Birmingham, and it’s helping to ignite a new excitement for the city. Opened in 2010, Railroad Park makes reference to the Steel City’s industrial past, and runs parallel to rail lines that are still used today. The park includes 19 acres of green space, several trails, scenic waterways, bridges, an amphitheater ...
Bike to Sloss Furnace from Railroad Park
Sloss Furnace is a historic industrial site in downtown Birmingham. For nearly a hundred years, this blast furnace produced iron for the “Steel City.” The site is now designated as a National Historic Landmark, and is a fun place to explore, wandering throughout the plant and past old machinery. Along the way, you can read about the significance of Sloss Furnace in Birmingham’s history, as well...
Climb the Unnamed Fire Tower in Tuscaloosa
To my knowledge, this fire tower does not have a name. If you know the name of this fire tower, please leave it in the reviews below!
The firetower is located about 20 minutes north of Tuscaloosa. Heading north on AL-69, turn right onto Yellow Creek Road. Continue along Yellow Creek Road for .4 mile until you reach a dirt pull-off on your left. Do not block the gate! Walk past the gate and foll...
