As the saying goes, "There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing." Obviously, within reason, but you get the point. Regardless of the weather, going outside is an absolute necessity.
The pictures that stand out most in my mind are usually those that I had to struggle the most to get. Not the ones where I lucked out on the side of the highway or from my back yard. The ones where I slogged up a mountain, braved the elements, or ventured into uncharted territory.
Two well-known and beloved Yellowstone wolves were killed this past month during the legal hunting season. Both were killed near the park boundaries. Wolves don't know the imaginary lines that separate the park from the surrounding wilderness and we need to do all we can to fight for their protection in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
