This hike is consistently recommended as one of the best in the area, for good reason. Lots of amazing views, popular, and good campsites as well.

Bring your bug spray! Easy walk after a long day of backpacking. Would definitely bring the whole family back here.

As noted, it gets pretty crazy at the main falls. Lots of folks there. The trail seems to thin the herd, however, and it makes for a great escape.

A good spot for parking is over near the Einstein Statue. There are usually 4 street parking spaces available before sunrise, and its just a 5 minute walk to the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

I'll echo the author, you'll want to get there as early as possible. Better peace of mind with rockfall, etc.!

Make sure you bring micro spikes, as most of the trail is covered in snow. This hike is pretty incredible, but there aren't many switchbacks so its a steep one!

The beauty of this valley really is awe inspiring. During the summer, waterfalls pour in over the high walls and the valley is a lush green. Highly recommend taking this walk. Dairy farms are throughout the area, so along the walk you'll find small stands with fresh cheese and even wine.

You'll want to put one or two in your pack. I had some trouble with the lighting here in the park, wish I'd done a bit more research. It's absolutely beautiful during winter or summer, although the contrast of the snow is pretty inspiring.

... Wrong. This is a hidden gem. Super relaxing after a high mileage day in Escalante. There were Native American ruins, beautiful wildflowers, and flowing streams. Slice of paradise. Put it on your list!

Don't miss this one. Its an easy walk and safe/fun for the whole family. Start early for some amazing morning light on the orange rock (you won't be alone), its truly breathtaking.

Did this in early spring and I was surprised at how cold it was. That being said, the snow on the orange rock was pretty spectacular and I'd definitely do it again. Bring layers!

We started out doing a backpacking trip not his trail. Its super remote and extremely beautiful. Unfortunately we had to cut the trip early, but I'd definitely recommend doing this if you're looking for an overnight in Capitol Reef.

As the others have said, do this! Its a great hike and an amazing slot canyon experience. We spent our time with this one and it took us about 6 hours (lots of photography). As always.. check your weather/rain forecasts and come prepared!

I didn't fully comprehend just how far "out there" this place was. It really makes you feel like you're on another planet, as the rock formations are other worldly. Highly recommend swinging through for a couple hours if you're visiting Capitol Reef!

We did this drive on a bad-weather day and it was actually a great choice! We stopped at most of the overlooks (which we would have otherwise ignored) and it was an easy day on the legs!

Had the opportunity to do this and am so happy I did. This hike, and the Kolob area of Zion, are far less visited than other areas of the park. You can usually avoid the crowds if you come here. Its always the area I suggest when someone asks me about Zion!

Surprisingly had this trail to ourselves. Bryce is usually pretty crowded, so check out this trail if you're looking to be alone in the park for a bit. Its a nice change of pace, but nothing remarkable (in Bryce Canyon, standards).

This is an easy paddle if you're looking for an adventure in the area. I rented a Kayak and it was a breeze. Affordable, too!

Knocked out a trail run here, which I found the trail to be perfect for. I found the dense forest to be really relaxing on my run, highly recommend it for someone looking for their next one!

Big fan of this trail, didn't find it too strenuous, however. Keep an eye on your heading, as the trail blazes/markers are faded in some areas.

... I'll caveat by saying I haven't been to many islands, but Santorini still holds a special place in my memory. It's beautiful, peaceful, friendly, and a relatively affordable. Can't recommend this place enough. Consider staying in Parissa Beach!

I'd definitely recommend arriving on the earlier side (shortly after sunrise) to get clean compositions of the waterfalls if you intend to photograph them. Its a great trail with plenty of areas to set up your shots!!

Definitely prefer the loop, but this hike is a wonderful alternative if you'd rather skip the crowds on White Oak Canyon!

Came here for astro photography recently. Its a good spot with plenty of space to set up and play around with different compositions. I actually used the tree (pictured) as part of my photos and liked the way it turned out.
