"Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better." - Albert Einstein

Its a great drive, but it is windy and can be very slow if you get caught behind a RV like I did.

Fun bouldering with lots of overhangs. Back when I climbed here, it used to be pretty close to a nude beach as well.

The hike down was pretty sketch with lots of loose gravel, and the climbing was pretty shear. Worth doing if you're in the area though.

Tons of amazing cracks to grab and some pretty tough bouldering to play on. Plus, its just a cool spot to chill at for the day.

Excellent rock to learn to boulder on, and you can even top rope it if you want.

The climbing here is awesome, but there is much more to do here as well. Things such as camping, hiking, exploring, and you can even swim in the nearby Columbia River.

Awesome place to climb, camp, and explore. The views are amazing from high up!

You have to hike this trail in Spring when the Bluebells are in bloom. They are stunning!

The most exciting and different thing that I have ever accomplished in my life. The experience of summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro was a blessing. You definitely need to train for this hike and take all health precautions.

If you can handle the water temperature, then you will be able to swim in the clearest, blue water I have ever seen! If you can hold your breath long enough, there are some cool caverns at the bottom of the spring to check out, just be safe in them.

This is a public beach, so you don't have to stay at an expensive beach hotel to access this gem. I bodysurfed there the day that I went, but I want to go back to parasail next time!

I'll forever remember this place because its where I got certified to SCUBA dive! Its about 40 feet deep to the mouth of the cave, and there are lots of different fish to identify and photograph.

Deer Island is super close to shore, so you can paddle to it in minutes, but if you camp on the South side of the island, you feel like you are on a private island far away from anyone else. I love camping here on the weekends and looking for crabs!

Its a long hike to the lake, and if you're looking for some solitude, this is the trail for you. You can unwind and reflect along the trail and then celebrate with a good lunch and watch the ducks once you make it to the lake.

This place is a pretty cool little day/weekend spot. You can camp, hike, bike, or photograph the alligators. I could just sit and stare at the alligators for hours, and sometimes I do!

Its a no-brainer: treadmill/boring walking path vs. walking, running, or biking along the beach. I know which I would choose!

This is a popular running/biking path right along the beach in Ocean Springs. It is a good workout and has a spectacular view from the top of the bridge.

Mountain biking, trail running, hiking, photography, camping, swimming, kayaking... did I forget anything? I'm sure I missed something, but you get the picture, there is a ton of different outdoor activities that you can do here.

I came here with a volunteer group from USM, and we kayaked down the Okatoma cleaning up trash. The rapids aren't big enough to worry about if you're inexperienced, but they are big enough to be fun to go through!

I randomly biked the Trace from the start in Hattiesburg to the end in Prentiss one Saturday, and I loved it! Other than a sore bum, the trip was very enjoyable and a great way to clear the mind. All you need is a bike, a reusable water bottle, and some snacks stuffed away in a backpack, and you are good to go!

If you come in Spring when the weather is perfect, it is such a fun, relaxing float. You won't run into many people, and it is actually quite a scenic trip.

The perfect place to come to once Spring has warmed things up a bit, but before it gets too hot in the Summer. Lots of steep hiking and waterfalls. They even have some bouldering and swimming holes here! If only you could camp here, then this would be the perfect weekend getaway.

I love coming to Little River Canyon when I'm in northern Alabama. There is a scenic drive around the canyon with lots of overlooks, there's some good bouldering, trails to hike, whitewater kayaking... You name it, its here!

If you live in the southern US, and you call yourself a climber, then you have at least heard of Sand Rock. I come here every year to climb once it gets cold out, and there's actually some cool caving here as well.
