The ghost town at Alta lakes is a cool stop if your visiting Telluride. The nearby lake draws a lot of visitors to the area so it is often crowded.

The lake and surrounding area were absolutely beautiful. Even though a high clearance 4x4 is required to reach this area it still gets very crowded with visitors and campers.

This was a slow going hike due to the elevation gain and altitude. Once you are at the top it will be worth it, I promise. The scenery is amazing.

This is a nice but difficult hike. The altitude was really getting to me so I felt like it took forever to get to the top but it was absolutely worth it once there. Beautiful!!

This hike was very difficult with roughly 3k ft of elevation gain. I felt like it took me forever to get up the mountain because the altitude was really getting to me. The hike is absolutely beautiful and worth it once you reach the lakes.

This was a nice hike through the forest. The hike is steep so I could really feel the altitude on this one. There is an old cabin on this route that is really cool to explore

I love the drive on the Million Dollar Highway. The roads are narrow and windy but there is so much to see. Watch for wildlife especially once it starts to get dark.

This is a nice short but popular hike to see the ruins and kivas. This is a nice hike to be able to explore the ruins without needing to hire a guide.

The scenery at little Molas Lake is breathtaking. The site is primitive so you won't find any amenities, but the location is ideal.

This is most definitely a tourist attraction with crowds of people but I feel its a must see place when visiting San Francisco. There are some really good restaurants in the area.

There is so much to see on this loop. The cliff dwelling and scenery is amazing.

The ruins at the beginning of the trail was the best part of this hike. On my visit you could only hike partway on this trail and the park service had the petroglyphs blocked off

Amazing views in every direction from this point. It's a short hike but worth it.

This is a short hike to see the Cliff Palace Dwelling. The lookout can be crowded but the view of the dwellings is amazing. It's really impressive how something like this was built so long ago.

On my recent visit to the park only part of this trail could be accessed. The Spruce Tree House was quite impressive even

This is an easy hike through the blue colored badlands. The scenery is quite unique. Definitely recommend.

It's like a scene straight out of a western movie. The rock formations of Monument Valley are iconic and a must see.

This is an absolute must if you are traveling through the area. It's such an iconic spot to take a photo

I reserved a group site for 6 nights and had the best time ever. There are so many hike in the area and the visitor center was within walking distance making it easy to pick up permits.

Make sure you have a high clearance 4x4 to get through the deep sand and rough road. The landscape is absolutely beautiful in this area.

This is a short hike but the views over Zion canyon are amazing. Fun trail.

I've paddled into Antelope canyon before and it is quite beautiful when the canyon walls close in. If there are a lot of boats creating wakes the paddle back can be quite exhausting

The canyon is beautiful but the sand makes this trek so much more exhausting. Be sure to check the weather before heading into the canyon due to flash flood risks.

I stopped here to get off the bus and explore. There really wasn't much here to see
